Cool Cards & Where To Find Them

In the past year I have been on an odd spree of looking for the perfect card whenever a special occasion calls for one. Whether it’s a friend’s birthday, Mother’s Day, or a graduation I have been pulling all the stops. I even have ordered birthday cards online. I am also guilty of framing random cards and using them as wall art. One of my favorite places to look for cards in Cursive NYC, located in Grand Central. It’s convenient to where I work and they have a lot of artsy brands (even though the last time I went there in search of a birthday card they were out so I had to improvise). Below is a list of some of my favorite card makers. P.S. there are other things for sale on these websites as well.

1. Gold Teeth Brooklyn. I love Gold Teeth Brooklyn cards because they have a cool texture (weird, I know). Also, this company sells mini wooden buoys that I really want. {Image via here.}

2. Sugar Paper, Los Angeles. Really girly and sparkly = guilty pleasure. {Image via here.}

3. The Great Lakes Goods. These cards and prints are cool because they’re kind of a cross between the masculine side of Gold Teeth Brooklyn and the girly elements of Sugar Paper, Los Angeles. As you can tell, I like anything that’s loud. {Image via here.}

4. Darkroom & Dearly. I found this seller on Etsy (she’s currently on vacation) and I also learned how to make the Instagram coasters from her blog. I framed the NYC print to hang in my room and gave this hilarious Mother’s Day card to my mom.
